Lobster babies!

The lobster is a classic costume that will turn even the ugliest of babies into a cute crustacean. (Not that any of these babies are ugly.)

This is one of the popular lobster costumes floating around on the internet. The googly eyes, the antennae, and the orange stomach are the main features that distinguish this store-bought costume from other homemade costumes. In terms of composition, this photo is quite nice. The chef's outfit and the bucket are great touches.

Marthastewart.com offers a few baby food costume ideas (which I will talk more about later.) This one, although a little bit less traditional is quite interesting as well. It's not really a costume because the baby would not be able to walk around in it. This is more of a piece of art which you can use to photograph your baby, perfect for your annual Christmas card. This is a homemade costume and on the Martha Stewart website (http://www.marthastewart.com/article/lobster-baby-costume), there are step by step instructions on how to design it, what materials you need etc. However these directions are quite complex and may not be worth it since the baby wouldn't be able to enjoy the costume to its fullest by wearing it around.

The last costume I will share with you today is from Costumeexpress.com (http://www.costumeexpress.com/Baby-Lobster-Costume/21907/ProductDetail.aspx) Of the three costumes we have looked it, this is the highest quality, made from very nice material with a great design. Also this costume will be very comfortable for your baby, and you will probably have a hard time getting them out of it. However costumes this nice can be a bit pricey, this one runs for $39.99.

That's it for now, hope you enjoyed those and look forward to more updates coming very soon.
